Submit Your Online Cycle to Work Scheme Order

To meets the needs of our busy customers, we have made the process to apply for the cycle to work scheme even easier. This application can now be done online via our website/checkout process. 

Please see the simple steps below and organise your new bike today with the team here at Garys Cycles. Remember we are your nationwide bike shop and will deliver nationwide. Its even easier to shop online with us and shop with confidence as our website shows live stock.

Step 1 - Research/Plan

Research the bike or style you want.
Check the stock on our website and use the in-stock or available to order filters for all bikes or accessories available. 
Please remember to check the sizing charts, which are based on height and inseam measurements.
This information is provided under all products, that require you to pick out a size. 

Remember we have plenty of bikes pre-ordered, so if the bike is out of stock you are looking for, we might have this already ordered and due in soon,  if this is the case you will need to contact us by email [email protected]

Step 2 - Register An Account 

The next simple step is to register an account on our website. 
This is an easy step by step process which can be done here 

Step 3 - Confirm your cart 

Once you have your research completed, please select your desired bike and accessories or clothing that are covered under the scheme and put them in your shopping cart. 

Remember the cycle to work scheme has limits which are the following. 
- Standard bike and or Accessories €1,250 
- Electric Bike and or Accessories €1,500

These are the amounts your company will cover, if your total exceeds this amount you will need to pay the balance yourself before collection or delivery. 

Step - 4 Checkout 

The final step is the checkout stage. 
Once you have selected all your desired products, click the basket icon and go the the following page and click ''checkout'' 

The Next page will be the ''Billing Details'' keep following the steps and get to the ''Delivery Page'' which will look like the following. When you are on this page fill out the require information and click either ''Home Delivery'' or ''Select In-Store'' you can then select ''Redeem Cycle to Work Scheme'' as a check out option, you will need to fill out the required text boxes and then select ''proceed to payment'' 



Step 5 - Confirm Order 

When you have sent us across your application, you will get a email confirming that your application has been sent to the Garys Cycles team. Our team will contact you within 24hrs to finalise your order.

Please note: This doesn't guarantee your bike/selected items until we speak to you which as mentioned above normally takes 24hrs after submission. 

A deposit will be required during this call to hold your selected bike & accessories which are covered under the cycle to work scheme. We will not issue any invoice or quotation unless a deposit has been placed. 

Once you confirm you are happy to proceed with the order our team will put your bike and accessories aside and send across invoice via email once your deposit is payed. You will need to submit this invoice into your companies HR Department (this is your responsibility) we do expect payment from your company within 4 weeks max.

Once we get to the collection or delivery stage after payment your initial deposit will be refunded, please note T&C's apply.  Please note: As per our policy ''no bike is allowed to leave the shop until full payment is made by your company. 

Rules:

The Cycle to Work Scheme is a tax incentive scheme which aims to encourage employees to cycle to and from work. Under the scheme employers can pay for bicycles and bicycle equipment for their employees and the employee pays back through a salary sacrifice arrangement of up to 12 months. The employee is not liable for tax, PRSI, levies or the Universal Social Charge on their repayments.

Rates:

There is a limit of up to €1,250 in respect of standard bicycles and €1,500 in respect of ‘e-bikes’ as part of the Government’s Jobs Stimulus Plan.(If you go over the limit you just pay the balance yourself).

(This includes bicycles, safety equipment and delivery charges). If you spend more than this limit you are liable for a benefit-in-kind income tax charge.
