Top 5 Road Bikes For March

We have plenty of Road bikes due into us over the next few weeks, so we thought we would compile a list of our top 5 Road bikes for March. These will include Endurance, Aero and lightweight aluminium climbing bikes.

Our Top 5 Road Bikes for March

5- Trek Emonda ALR 4

One of our Top bikes this month is the impressive Trek Emonda ALR 4. The Emonda ALR 4 Disc is a lightweight aluminium road bike with powerful hydraulic disc brakes, a quality drivetrain and a frame that looks and handles like a far more expensive carbon bike. It's perfect for new riders, racers and anyone who values the better braking performance and tyre clearance provided by disc brakes.

Two Great Colour options

A lightweight 300 Series Alpha Aluminium frame with shaped tubes and Invisible Weld Technology for the looks and handling of a far more expensive carbon bike, a 2x10 Shimano Tiagra drive train, Émonda carbon fork, tubeless-ready wheels, powerful flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes and internal cable routing in both the frame and fork.

Émonda ALR 4 Disc is the most affordable road disc model in the line-up, but it handles like a far more expensive bike and has the looks to match. It's an extremely capable racing bike at a great price.

Who would this work for?

This would be a great option for the sportive or club rider, who’s more interested in staying the distance than riding hard or a rider looking for a second bike for winter riding who wants to keep their pride and joy out of the winter elements.

The tech you get

A lightweight and aerodynamic 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame and fork, a full Shimano 105 11-speed drive train, powerful flat-mount Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, internal cable routing for clean looks and Bontrager Tubeless Ready wheels.

The ride of the bike is exceptionally stiff and incredibly fun in the way that a proper race bike can be. We tested the Emonda SL7 earlier in the year and the bike feels punchy up short climbs and whippy and nimble in decent's.

The new aero shaping has resulted in a bike that looks fast.  The lines are classic and the traditional cockpit doesn’t look out of place either.  If you are looking for a new carbon road bike then the New Emonda SL 5 should be high up on your list.
